Terms & Conditions

In these Terms:

• Service means Horizon's AI chatbot platform, including website crawling, document processing, chatbot hosting, embeddable widget, integrations, and related support services.
• Customer or you refers to the individual or legal entity registering for the Service.
• Subscription Term means the monthly billing cycle selected at signup.
• Subscription Fees means the recurring charges due and payable for use of the Service.
• Order Form means any online or offline form confirming subscription details including plan, term, and fees.

Headings serve convenience only and don't affect interpretation. Singular includes plural and vice versa.

• Horizon makes the Service available once payment is received or upon enrollment in a free plan. The free plan provides dashboard access for building and testing chatbots only; a paid subscription is required to deploy chatbots publicly.
• You guarantee that all information provided is accurate and agree to promptly update contact or billing details.
• Horizon may change, enhance, or withdraw features as needed, provided any changes do not materially degrade core functionality.

You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal and business purposes.

You must not:

• Resell or redistribute the Service.
• Reverse-engineer or duplicate the Service.
• Use the Service to compete with Horizon.
• Interfere with the Service's operation or network.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Use the Service to generate responses that are intentionally misleading, harmful, or in violation of applicable laws.

• You retain ownership of all content you provide to the Service, including website content, uploaded documents, and chatbot configurations.
• By using the Service, you grant Horizon a license to crawl, process, store, and create vector embeddings of your content solely to provide the Service.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and provide any content submitted to the Service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of AI-generated responses displayed to your end users through your chatbot.
• If you enable CRM integrations such as HubSpot, you instruct Horizon to transmit lead and contact information collected through your chatbot to the connected third-party platform in accordance with your configuration. You are solely responsible for the data you choose to collect, the fields you map, and for ensuring you have all rights, notices, and consents required to collect, use, and transfer that data.

• You agree to pay all Subscription Fees at rates in effect when charges are due. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which you are responsible for.
• Fees are billed monthly in advance. Payment is non-cancellable and non-refundable.
• If you subscribe through the Shopify integration, billing is handled by Shopify in USD. Shopify's billing terms and refund policies apply to those transactions.
• Plans auto-renew at the end of each term. By signing up, you authorize Horizon to automatically charge your stored payment method for renewals.
• Horizon reserves the right to update fees or pricing plans with at least 30 days' notice prior to your next renewal. Changes take effect at renewal only.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not entitle you to any refund.
• To avoid renewal charges, cancellation must occur at least 7 days before the end of your current term. Access continues until term-end.

All payments are final. No refunds — partial or full — will be issued under any circumstances, including:

• Cancellation mid-term
• Account inactivity or unused features
• Downgrades or upgrades
• Accidental or duplicate renewals

Please ensure you understand your plan and billing frequency before subscribing.

• Horizon uses third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) to generate chatbot responses. Your content and conversation data may be processed by these providers.
• AI-generated responses may not always be accurate. Horizon does not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
• If you enable third-party integrations, including HubSpot, you authorize Horizon to access, use, and transmit the data reasonably necessary to operate the integration as configured by you. Horizon is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, security, or data handling practices of third-party services, which remain subject to their own terms, policies, and platform rules.

• If you violate these Terms or fail to pay, Horizon may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate the Service without notice. No refunds will be given.
• Upon termination for cause, Horizon has no obligation to retain or return your data.

• The Service is provided “as is.” Horizon does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• Horizon disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
• Liability is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to a claim. In no case will Horizon be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Horizon does not warrant that any third-party integration, including HubSpot, will remain available, interoperable, or error-free, and Horizon will not be liable for losses arising from third-party platform changes, outages, access restrictions, or processing failures outside Horizon's reasonable control.

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Where you use Horizon to collect lead information from your end users and sync that information to third-party systems such as HubSpot, you remain solely responsible for providing any required privacy notices, obtaining any required consents, and complying with all applicable privacy, marketing, and data protection laws.

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and notifying you by email. Continued use after updates means you accept those changes.

• These Terms are governed by laws applicable in your jurisdiction or as specified in the Order Form.
• If any clause is found invalid, the rest remain enforceable.
• No third-party beneficiary rights arise under these Terms.
